The Decemberists played with the Grant Park Orchestra last night at Millennium Park...

it was so unbelievably crowded that it was impossible for about 3/4's of the crowd to see the stage. Still, it sounded great. It wasn't so much the orchestra that sounded so good, but Colin Meloy's singing. But I'm ready and willing to concede that I could have been mostly hearing sound from the speakers and not the orchestra since I was so far in the back.
