Save Internet Radio!
Visit www.savenetradio.com for information on the Internet Radio Equality Act and how big labels are attempting a money-snatch on broadcasters.

Special note: This bill would only set the royalty rates for internet music to the same as Satellite radio. The fees, which will go into effect unless the equality act is passed, are estimated to be more than 1200 percent of the typical broadcaster's revenue.

Under the impending rates, even songs used as transitions or background music would have to be paid for.

This would severely affect NPR and college radio!

If you want Internet radio to sound like Pop radio and be controlled by corporations then ignore the issue. It only takes a minute to email your senator.
