Stream a new Ryan Adams track, "Two" from his upcoming album here.
The background vocals are Sheryl Crow, but we won't hold that against him.
In other news, Adams said that he was hoping to put out a bunch of unrealeased material in a box set later this year. I'm hoping that he is referring to the plethora of albums he recorded, but record companies wouldn't release due to the sheer amount of music and lack of time and resources to promote all of the albums.
Demolition was actually a compilation of songs from these full albums, taking about 3 songs each from four albums. Most people were unaware of this and some ignorant critics assailed it for its dis-jointedness.
I read in an interview long ago that Adams actually pressed vinyls of the albums, artwork and all, for his home collection. Hopefully, they'll come out as he envisioned them because some of the artwork is great.
I, fortunately, tracked down all the albums on the internet as they were released. As far as my collection reflects, these albums would include...
48 Hours
Duets, Covers
Fool's Gold
Exile on Franklin Street
Heartbreaker Demos
Pinkhearts 1 & 2
Suicide Handbook
Swedish Sessions
California EP
Rescue Blues EP
Halloween EP
Q Division
There are also some unreleased Whiskeytown albums out there for those of you that are so inclined...
